I've been watching Oprah's Best Life series this week. I record it on my DVR and then watch it at night while I'm on the elliptical. You can find all of this information on her website, but here are some tips I'm going to try to follow:
~ Schedule time for yourself.
~ Five ingredients to avoid - high fructose corn syrup, sugar, foods with "enriched" ingredients, trans fat & saturated fats.
~ Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
The last one is a big one for me. This is how my nights and mornings usually go - stay up until 11pm or later, set the alarm for 6am, hit the snooze until 6:30, or today 6:45, run around like a crazy person to get out the door by 7:15am. Needless to say, it's not a relaxing morning. And, it doesn't really fit with my "simplify" theme. So, I'm going to try really hard to get up the first time my alarm rings...at 6am.
